BEECH MOUNTAIN CLUB


The Beech Mountain Club is a private, non-profit corporation located on beautiful Beech Mountain, North Carolina, just a few miles from Banner Elk. Beech Mountain rises 5,506 feet above sea level, and this elevation ensures cool summer temperatures for over 1600 Club members. Membership is open to owners of qualified Beech Mountain property, and use of Club facilities is limited to members and their guests. The Club serves a diverse membership with a vast array of services. A Board of Directors, elected by the membership, governs the organization through the General Manager/COO.

CLUB FACILITIES

GOLF COURSE
The Club is blessed with an 18-hole golf course designed by Willard Byrd stretching over 6,250 yards across beautiful mountain terrain. The golf season typically runs from May through October.

CLUBHOUSE
Perched on a rock overlooking the 10th and 14th holes of the golf course is a two-story clubhouse facility appropriately designed to accommodate members and their guests desiring diverse dining experiences. Views from the Clubhouse provide splendid panoramic Blue Ridge mountain scenes, and on a clear day mountain peaks in Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia are visible.

FAIRWAY CAFE
Outdoor open-air cafe located between the nines adjacent to the newly renovated putting green. Convenient soup, salad and sandwich menu served daily during the season.

TENNIS
The Club provides ten Har-tru composition clay courts for the enjoyment of its members and their guests.

SWIMMING POOL
Our new pool is a heated, outdoor pool with lap lanes, zero entry, and play features.  Averaging 82 degrees, it is open daily Memorial Day through Labor Day.

ALPEN HAUS
Located on the ski slopes at
Ski Beech is the winter clubhouse for members of the Beech Mountain Club. This facility provides a comfortable lounge with a snack bar, restroom facilities and lockers. In the summer months, the Alpen Haus is used for various recreation activities.

RECREATION DEPARTMENT
The Club has an outdoor pavilion, an indoor Recreation Activity Room, Elm Conference Room, library, computer lab, bocce ball court, hiking trails, activity vans, recreation bus and various kitchen facilities in addition to the Clubhouse and Alpen Haus for use by members and their guests. 

DAY CAMP
From mid June until the end of July, the Club operates a day camp for children ages 3-16 out of a 1600 square foot building. In addition to this building, there are two open-air huts for day campers to enjoy. Three days a week the Explorers program is offered for children ages 3 and 4.

FITNESS
The Club has a fitness center with resistance and cardiovascular equipment for year round use by members and their guests, open 24/7/365.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
In addition to golf, tennis, swimming, dining, and day camp; the Beech Mountain Club schedules socials and events for members and their guests including bridge, nature ventures, day trips, teen activities, exercise classes, water aerobics, art and craft classes, dances, historic outings, whitewater rafting, bingo and much more!
